About the Potted Picea
The Picea is a compact, naturally cone-shaped spruce with soft, densely packed bright-green needles. It grows into that classic Christmas-tree silhouette all by itself, so it looks smart straight out of the pot - no trimming, no fuss.
It's a living tree, so it does best somewhere cool: a porch, doorstep or bright hallway is ideal, and a pair either side of the front door looks fantastic. If you bring it into a heated room, keep it away from radiators, water it regularly and move it back outside after a week or so.
After Christmas, keep it in its pot on the patio or plant it out in the garden. It grows slowly, so it stays a manageable size and can come back indoors next December.
Why you'll love it
- A living tree - keep it in the pot or plant it out after Christmas
- Naturally neat cone shape, no trimming needed
- Perfect for porches, doorsteps and table-tops
- Slow-growing, so it can come back year after year
