About the Nordmann Fir
The Nordmann Fir is Britain's best-loved Christmas tree, and once you've had one it's easy to see why. Its thick, glossy, deep-green needles are soft to the touch - kind on small hands and paws - and it holds them remarkably well throughout December, which is why it's often called the "non-drop" tree.
Ours are British-grown, raised at our Suffolk nursery and Scottish Highland plantation, and cut fresh for the season rather than shipped over from Scandinavia weeks in advance. Fresher cutting means better needle retention, a fuller fragrance, and a tree that still looks superb on Twelfth Night.
Each tree is hand-graded before it leaves the field. We pick out the symmetrical, well-furnished trees - full from the base up with strong, evenly spaced branches that hold decorations beautifully.
Why you'll love it
- Outstanding needle retention - the original "non-drop" variety
- Soft needles, safe for children and pets
- Full, symmetrical shape with strong branches for heavier decorations
- British-grown and cut fresh for the 2026 season
